Sunday Times - Vincent Crump Oct 08: “The most yule-fuelled ski resort in Europe must be La Clusaz, in the Haute Savoie (www.aravis08.com). Its Christmas-week festival is a quintessentially French frenzy of fairy lights, circus shows and community carol-singing – even gift-making workshops where your little ones can make like Père Noël’s elves.”

Sunday Times, Mark Hodson, Nov 08: “If you’re planning to go skiing over Christmas, you really ought to do it in a traditional resort with plenty of atmosphere and a good snow record. La Clusaz, in Haute-Savoie, France, not only ticks those two boxes, it also lays on a remarkable feast of Christmas celebrations – the Pestacles du Père Noël – which is now in its 10th year.
