… and the guys that work with us.
Andrew: “Skiing in La Clusaz has been Soooo amazing… I’m back for a fourth season !”
Andrew has followed adventure far and wide – from his home in Scotland to Canada, Greece, Egypt and France. Whether it’s on his snowboard, skis, windsurf board or mountain bike, you’ll usually find Andrew enjoying the great outdoors.
Over the winter season of 2007 Andrew earned his snowboard instructor’s certificate in Whistler, Canada. He left snow for the sun and water in Vassiliki, Greece and began working at the legendary windsurf resort Club Vass. Here he qualified as a windsurf instructor and developed a passion for freestyle windsurfing. Andrew spent several summers working as a restaurant manager at Club Vass and it was here that he met Dani. He eventually moved over to become a mountain bike guide with Dani after completing his mountain bike instructor’s qualifications. Summer 2012 saw Andrew and Dani in Vaujany, France where they ran a catered chalet that hosted mountain bikers and hikers looking for a great summer holiday in the Alps.
Andrew joined the Chalet Panoramic team in 2009 and hasn’t looked back!
Dani: “Come and try my afternoon tea cakes!!!”
After studying Architectural Technology at Glamorgan University, Dani was in search of an adventure. She found herself in Vassiliki, Greece at Club Vass where she became a windsurf and dingy sailing instructor. Her love for windsurfing kept her at Club Vass for several summers and took her to Dahab, Egypt in the winter.
Returning to her home in Wales, Dani became a MIAS Level 2 mountain bike instructor and eventually a mountain bike trainer assessor. When she returned to Club Vass, she managed their mountain biking programme.
Summer 2012 found Dani hosting a catered chalet for mountain bikers in France. This gave her a chance to combine her mountain biking leadership skills with her love of cooking.
Now in her fourth season at Chalet Panoramic, Dani is popular with the guests for her incredible afternoon tea cakes. She always has a sweet treat in store for the guests when they come in off the slopes!
Jesse: “I’m back, and I’m cooking up a storm… a snow storm !“

Ever since spending a month in France in 2008, Jesse has wanted to return. A keen snowboarder, he has always been drawn to the mountains.
Growing up on the West Coast of Canada has given him the chance to experience some amazing mountains and ski areas – but he’s found that there’s something very special about spending time in the French Alps.
A degree in Earth and Ocean Sciences has led Jesse to work as a geologist – a career path that has taken him all over the Yukon Territory, including an expedition north of the Arctic Circle!
A great love of food and wine has meant that Jesse has split his time between working in geology and cooking in the kitchens of Vancouver. As french food is his favourite cuisine, Jesse wanted to spend a year cooking in France. After a great winter at Chalet le Panoramic, the next destination was Corsica. Jesse spent the summer there working in a Michelin Star restaurant, gaining great experience.
One day Jesse will decide if he wants to be a geologist or a chef, but for now he is happy to be back at Chalet Panoramic for another great winter season!
Christina: “Here we go again!!”
Christina grew up between the mountains and the ocean of Vancouver, Canada where she developed a love the outdoors.
Passionate about travelling, she has explored many parts of Europe, but it is France that she continues to return to. She loves the language, the history, the culture, the food and, of course, the wine!
After studying History and Political Science at the University of Victoria, Christina traveled and worked in Europe, living in Ireland and France. Eventually she returned to Vancouver to university to become a secondary school teacher.
Although she loves teaching, she still has the travel bug! This led her and Jesse to plan another year of living and working abroad. With the hope of improving their french, and their skiing, Christina and Jesse decided to spend a winter season in La Clusaz. Over the summer their travels took them to Corsica for work. While this should have wrapped up their year in France, they enjoyed the previous winter at Chalet Panoramic so much, they just had to return!
Enthusiastic, with a great appetite for life, adventure and powder, this lady’s smile will stay with you forever!
