Groups from 18 and up to 30 people are welcome. Book the chalet for a week and come with a group of friends or family. The price of 300 euros per adult and 200 euros per child is for self catering but Andrew+Dani are available and happy to offer catering services if you should so wish… first night welcome meals, BBQ’s, afternoon tea cakes, picnics etc; (details and prices on request) There is so much to do in La Clusaz in the summer – the list really is endless and its proximity to Annecy, its fabulous lake and town is a huge bonus ! The 4 Aravis resorts (La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, Saint-Jean de Sixt) offer a huge mountain biking area which combines 22 freeride and cross-country trails and 14 family circuits. Take a lift up the mountain… then ride the single tracks down or go road biking with the Tour de France Col’s on your doorstep… there’s endless options !
Mountaineering in La Clusaz
With 28 sites and 600 paths suitable for all abilities, the Aravis massif is a reference point amongst climbing enthusiasts. La Clusaz’s approved climbing schools offer beginner sessions in complete safety with some routes accessible even from the age of 5 ! With its five massifs and 90 kilometres of marked routes, La Clusaz is the destination for walkers and lovers of the great outdoors. Via Ferrata – best way to experience dizzy heights whilst staying completely safe. Access to high altitude peaks is via fixed ladders, pegs, handrails, rungs and gorge-spanning footbridges. Harnesses with a simple rope and karabiner arrangement, are essential. This sport offers eager rock climbers and adventurous walkers, the opportunity to explore routes, which would normally require climbing skills. There are three good via ferrata routes in the Aravis; La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Thones, which offer vertical ascents of over 750m !!
Outdoor/indoor pools in La Clusaz, Merdassier, Le Grand Bornand+Thones
Why not take in the amazing panorama from the swimming pool? The aqua park has an indoor/outdoor pool with a 360 degree view of the Aravis massif ! While the children are having fun on the waterslide, parents can use the fitness suite and sauna. A covered section with paddling pool, fountain, indoor pool and a Jacuzzi out into a outdoor pool. Water temperature is 29° C. There’s also great pools in Le Grand Bornand, Merdassier and Thones !
Forest adventure parks
There is one in Thones (10 mins) and one in Le Grand Bornand (5 mins)…High wire adventure for kids of all ages.
Paragliding in La Clusaz
All flights are supervised by professional state qualified pilots, qualified to carry out accompanied first flights. First flights, flights over the village and the alpine pastures, possibility of dual control flights.

18-holes of mini golf in the center of the village and up on the Confins plateau there a stunning 6 hole course+driving range. The Golf des Confins is situated just 4 kms from the village and welcomes golfers of all levels. With a 6-hole course+driving range, a putting-green, and an approach course. There’s rental of clubs, equipment sales and a restaurant on site. There are eight excellent golf courses in range of La Clusaz. These are all within 75 mins, with a spectacular drive from La Clusaz and include Evian, which hosts the Evian Masters tournament each year. This has the second richest prize fund in womens golf.
There are two courts within minutes of the Chalet in the village, and three more just up the road !
Water sports are catered for on Lake Annecy, just 30 mins away. Here you can swim, sail, dive, hire a pedalo, kayak or paddle board, water ski or wake board, just to mention a few. There are a number of beaches dotted along the 40 km shore line. Annecy is extremely popular with its magnificent old town+waterways. Just on the other side of Annecy is the spectacular Gorge de Fier, where the snow melt has carved a deep passage into the limestone rocks on the river Fier. About an hour away is the medieval village of Yvoire, situated on Lac Leman. This site can be combined with a visit to the lovely lakeside resort of Evian and the Chateau de Ripaille.
